I get what you are saying. Those things that require more of our mental energy (or sometimes physical) are accomplished at a higher quality when we do them first. As the day goes on, we can unwind into other activities that may require less thought (more habitual activities).

This strategy has definitely worked for me, but had never thought about the “important” versus “urgent” concept.
