This would work well when a company is truly diligent and conscientious about controlling costs, but wouldn’t work for the companies that believe making the deadline is the end-all/be-all to not lose the contract and that nine women working together can produce a baby in a month.
In a nightmare scenario, upper management would task lower managers to create those meeting time metrics, and they would get an extra layer of work to do on top of everything else.
