Welcome to Month 1 of Spalk’s Features & Releases Blog!
tl;dr Publish your commentary to Facebook Live, Follow your favourite commentators and a tonne of UI & Bug Fixes.
Every month we’ll be publishing a new one of these to highlight new features, bug fixes and functionality that we’ve added to the Spalk Platform.

So let’s get started with last month’s releases!
Publish to Facebook Live:
Commentators are now able to share live game video, with commentary, to their personal Facebook Live.
Viewers can then tune into commentary on Spalk and Facebook Live. Viewers are unable to change commentator on Facebook Live as this feature is only available when viewed on Spalk via the Commentary Widget.

Follow Commentators:
Logged in users are now able to follow commentators so they never miss their favourite commentator. You can follow a commentator by clicking Follow on their Profile Page or from the Commentary Widget while you are listening to them.
Following a commentator will send you notifications (by email) when that commentator goes live or schedules to commentate.
UI Updates & Bug Fixes:
- We changed the UI on the commentary widget to make it clearer which commentator is currently active
- Other general bug fixes & UI improvements

- Trim and Share Highlights (Live & VoD) — we’re pretty excited about this one! Soon you’ll be able to trim and share your favourite commentary moments live and on-demand to Twitter & Facebook.
