Finally, after three weeks of prototyping, we came to do the user testing! Basically, the process is below: Three people of each team walk out to do the user testing for other teams and three people stay at team to handle the user test. And then we take turns.

User-testing (The man in green is tester, girl in gray is operator)

After user testing, we came up with lots of problems. Some testers present confusion while using our app, some offers new ideas to help with our unsolved problems, and some suggest new possibilities for better development. Besides, during the observation of user testing, we also found some pages that need to modified in order to present better fluidity and simplicity.

At the end of user testing, we had a long discussion together, thinking about ways to improve our prototype. We agreed that our main goal is to create an app that: first, very suitable for elder people to use (easy to operate); second, involve some creative functionality and ideas to some extent. These two principles become our app design base. Following that, we summarized a more consolidate user testing feedback and associated improvement ideas. (See below)

After we reach a consensus of improved prototype design, we discuss the general style, including color, arrangement, app name and logo.

Hopefully next week, we could have a good presentation of our work!
