I wonder if it could be helpful to move to the verb forms rather than the noun or adjective? “Trans” tends to be used as either a noun or an adjective, implying a continuing state, whereas I note in your writing about your experience, it’s a verb, usually in the past tense: “I transitioned…” It takes more space, but would it work to say something for your byline such as “transitioned years ago” or what not? Just a thought – I’m sure there’s levels of complexity I’m not aware of. I enjoy your writing – thank you! – Rebekah
