Quantum Brain Healing: Treating Anxiety With Amino Acid Therapy

Quantum Brain Healing can replace the modern antidepressant and anxiety medications with vitamins, minerals, amino acids, nutritional supplements, and alternative therapies to treat anxiety and depression. Early treatments for anxiety and depression relied upon opioids. This was a very bad practice, as it created addiction issues and chemically destabilized the brain.

Anxiety may be managed with prescription drugs, acupuncture, orthomolecular amino acid therapy, herbs, NAET, auricular laser acupuncture, amino acids, nutritional protocols, visualization, cognitive therapy, hypnosis, exercise, meditation, yoga, Tai Chi or Qi Gong. These therapies can be used to balance the brain, especially the amygdala and basal ganglia.

Neurotransmitters control your mood. These are made by your body from amino acids, vitamins and minerals. Quantum Brain Healing relies on supplementing a nutritionally well balanced diet with additional amino acids and vitamins to alter the production of these neurotransmitters. It also includes the use of herbs can change the level of production of neurotransmitters and slow the breakdown of the neurotransmitters by blocking the receptors. After your disease is properly diagnosed, these substances can be used to help stimulate your body to increase the production of the specific neurotransmitter which is out of balance in your brain. This may be adequate for cases of anxiety which are not severe to avoid prescription drugs. This cannot be achieved without attention to overall diet, exercise and overall stress exposure.

Quantum Brain Healing uses amino acids, herbs or precursors to neurotransmitters for achieving similar outcomes as antidepressants. 5HTP is initially is converted into serotonin, and later into melatonin. Phenylalanine is converted into Tyrosine. Tyrosine and SAMe are initially converted into dopamine. Dopamine can be converted into norepinephrine or epinephrine. Orthomolecular medicine finds GABA, 5-HTP, Theanine, SAME, and Tryptophan very good at relieving anxiety in the proper therapeutic doses which are often much higher found in the common diet. Many medical conditions increase the levels of nutrients needed for good health by most people.

GABA, L-theanine, and L-tryptophan can also be converted into neurotransmitters and affect moods. Dietary L-lysine deficiency increases stress-induced anxiety. In one small study, L-lysine supplementation reduced plasma cortisol, in response to stress and reduced chronic anxiety. L-lysine acts like a partial serotonin receptor antagonist, inhibiting neurotransmitter reuptake in the synapse. The addition of L-Lysine to improve anxiety is especially useful in people with underlying Herpes infections. Altering neurotransmitter levels can relieve pain and improve mood as quickly as drugs.

Herbs treating anxiety include St. John’s Wort, Passionflower, Valerian, Kava, Lemon Balm, Bacopa Monera, Rhodiola Rosea, Hops, Skullcap, Ashwaganda, and Ginkgo Biloba. These herbs are readily available around the world.
