NaviAddress Project

During my foraging around on the ICO project scene I stumbled upon Navi Address a project based on an interesting idea. A digital address. Why would anyone need a digital address? It transcends language barriers. You don’t have to think about spelling either because you have a unique digital address for every location on earth from New York City to Timbuktu.
Don’t we already have coordinates for that? What is the difference between a digital address and a good old latitude /longitude? They are a mouthful.

This Concept was developed in 2012 and has been a long time coming, I was tempted to think of it as another failed navigation app that is trying to take advantage of the block chain craze until I got to the bottom of the page and saw Alexander Busarov of the Wabi fame listed as an adviser. This dude`s idea made a lot of people rich he hit it out of the ball park with the Walimai project and I see the same metrics in play at Navi.

Thoughts on the NaviAdress project:

Project idea; A new free digital addressing system for any location on earth. Get there with or without landmarks.

Prototype; Navi address was able to integrate with Uber in 2016. They solve a real-world problem especially in geographies where the current addressing protocol is impractical.

Team wise; Navi boasts of 7 highly experienced technology professionals and business men, these are old hands not the fresh-faced kids whose recent achievements are fresh on our minds that seem to dominate the crypto scene.

I am learning to dig deeper and not simply be dismissive of anyone who doesn’t have Google, Facebook and the like on their resume.

Advisors; Wabi co-founder Alexander Busarov stands out from the park of 11 advisors yet they have him listed at the bottom. This to me shows that this team has got more substance than show. I reached out to Alexander and he confirmed his advisory role. Once again, most of the other advisors are old business hands.

Token Metrics; Navi is issuing 1billion tokens and selling half of them for $0.05 each, this values them at 50 million dollars and considering that google paid $966 million for waze, it is a safe bet that Navi`s valuation will gravitate in that direction. Even if they only rose to 300million in 3 years that is a huge gain.

Lockup; The 6-month lockup period ensures there won’t be a dump and the 30-month release of 1/30 each month gives the team breathing room to focus on the product.

I think 25million is a bit high for a little-known team, but the project structuring is awesome and with Alexander Busarov advising them they should achieve above average success.

I won’t be participating in the pre-sale. I can’t afford the minimum. But I was amazed at the total lack of mention of this project in the space that it provoked me to write this piece.

This is just my opinion. This in not financial advise. I am not a financial advisor. This is not a buy or sell advisement. Please consult your legal and financial advisor.
