The Silence of the Sheeple

If I do say so myself, I’m a damn good listener.

I don’t listen with the intent of responding; I actively listen. I pay close attention to those whom are speaking and show the utmost respect and concern in what they have to say.

That said, I also seem to notice a lot of details that others may miss or simply overlook.

Like the prevalence of this wishy-washy, gutless, and need to fit in/please/be cool attitude.

And it’s driving me fucking nuts!

Seriously, what’s with people who say something one minute and completely change their tune the next?

What ever happened to integrity, morals, and decency?

It appears as though a lot of people’s main concern is what others may think of them. People don’t seem to give a shit about being true to themselves anymore. It’s pathetic!

And society seems to be A-okay with everything because it’s not a big deal. If it’s not dangerous, just sweep it under the rug, right?

Well it’s a huge deal to me. And it fucking keeps me up at night.

All I hear are cries of people who don’t have the balls to be their true and authentic selves. They’re crying for help before they’re slaughtered by the “status quo.”

Like Jodie Foster’s character, Clarice Starling, in Jonathan Demme’s 1991 blockbuster film The Silence of the Lambs, I will not be at peace until I hear silence — silence of the sheeple. And I’ll only hear that when they are their true selves without having to worry about how others perceive them.

That’s my vision.

Because the system is so fucked and I refuse to be a bystander. I refuse to sit quietly and let this travesty take place!

When I die, I won’t rest in peace unless I’ve given all I have to changing the game that we’re all playing. I’m that passionate about this subject.

Fuck the system.
