Some years ago, I approached our pastor about leading a men’s ministry that was anything but typical. I was told that sort of men’s ministry was not needed at that church, what ever that meant. However, my current pastor, when I first started taking down the statistics of who attended church did pay attention and began gearing his sermons with men in mind. When he started it was generally a two or three to one ratio of women to men. Now we are at a one to one ratio.
