Double Treat For Tennis Fans; Federer and Nadal To Pair-Up!

World renowned Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are planning to team up for the doubles in the opening Laver Cup next year.

Both the Tennis stars have committed to participate in the Cup. The cup is considered to be an attempt in creating a tennis version of golf’s Ryder Cup. Both the players have won 31 major titles combined.

The cup is named to give tribute to Australian Tennis legend Rod Laver. The announcement date for the competition was January 2016. However, the event will take place from September 22–24, 2017, in Prague. A team of European players will compete against a group from rest of the world.

Former rivals Bjorn Borg (Europe) and John McEnroe (world team) were announced Wednesday as captains.
