Fear is very real. There is a reason sexual harassment still is common in the workplace. Because it is thought of as harmless for a man to trick a woman into a date. No one should be afraid if the black teenager or the turban wearing passenger. Not should women have to fear that talking shop is really a con for a romantic date. As long as people don’t see this as an issue, sexual harassment and women being viewed as less will continue. Just as we need to make racism visible, we need to make sexism visible. Both have to be taken seriously.

PC has nothing to do with calling out sexism.
