Come meet members of our team and learn more about our APIs at some upcoming events across the globe!

Our first stop will be at the local ForwardJS/ForwardSwift conferences here in San Francisco on March 1st & 2nd. Lots of Squares are attending, and we will have a booth where you can be sure to find someone who can tell you more about our APIs, and even some jobs we have open!

QuickBooks Small Business Hack

We will also be at the QuickBooks Small Business Hack on March 4th & 5th at CodeNode in London, UK. We are excited to partner with them again to support people building tools to help small businesses. You’ll be fueled, fed, and entertained while you code your way to winning a surprise Square prize, as well as the £5000 grand prize! Check out www.SmallBizHack.com for further details and to grab your free ticket.

Come to our first London workshop!

The next day, on March 6th, we will be hosting a workshop about our APIs for our London- and UK-based developers. If you have been interested in learning more about our developer platform, seeing which Square features are available globally, or are just looking for some technical support, this is the event for you! Even if you just happen to be in London and want to come meet our team or other developers in the UK (and maybe have a couple pints?!), sign up on our registration page here: https://developersmeetinglondon.splashthat.com/

As we circle back around the globe, you can find our team in Austin, TX for the SXSW Hackathon on March 14th and 15th. This year, SXSW is focused on three verticals (music, VR/AR, film) with challenges in categories like creation, distribution, and most importantly for us, commerce and monetization. We are super excited to see what the hackers come up with to help musicians and artists of all types turn their passions into professions. If you are going to be in town (even if you don’t participate in the hackathon) we’d love to see you at the afterparty at Green Light social! Sign up here: https://squareshackathonafterparty.splashthat.com/

Our last stop in March is Devoxx US in San Jose, CA from March 21st to the 23rd. Py ⚔ will be giving a talk on our open source tool LeakCanary and how you can use it to automatically find memory leaks, as well as how to fix them. Other members of our team will be there to show off some of the new offerings we’ll have for Java developers. If you are reading this, and will be at Devoxx, let us know! We’d love to see you there. And stay tuned to hear where we’ll be next.
