At What Point in a New Relationship Do You Discuss Credit Scores?
Nicole Dieker

I hate these sort of timeline-based relationship things- everyone/everyrealationship is different. Personally, once I started thinking long term with this person (once we started talking about moving in, or what we were doing for christmas next year well in advance, something like that), it would be time to chat frankly about money.

In my own life, partner and I got together before we had credit scores, so we’re well aware of our individual styles and mistakes and strengths. We figured it out together, so our coping systems are one unit.
