Wirelessly Display Chromebooks On New Apple TV With AirParrot 2 for Chrome OS
Wirelessly displaying a Chromebook screen on an Apple TV is simple with the new AirParrot 2 for Chrome OS app.
AirParrot 2 for Chrome OS software runs on Chromebooks. It adds AirPlay capabilities to Chromebooks so users can wirelessly present their device screens to Apple TV. While Chromebooks come with native Cast technology to connect to Chromecast, they do not come pre-equipped with the ability to connect to Apple TV.
AirParrot 2 for Chrome OS connects to second- through fourth-generation Apple TVs and Reflector-enabled devices.
How to connect to Apple TV
A user opens the AirParrot 2 for Chrome OS app, selects which AirPlay receiver they want to mirror to and clicks “Connect.” Users can choose to mirror their entire Chromebook desktop display or just a single tab.
AirParrot 2 for Chrome OS includes:
- The ability to mirror Chrome OS screens to multiple Apple TVs at once
- Apple TV 4 support
- tvOS 10.3 support
AirParrot 2 for Chrome OS is available in the chrome web store for $4.99, and it’s free for previous AirParrot for Chrome OS users.
