Pipe Organ Appeal

The organ of St. Patrick Church was built in 1992 by the Lively-Fulcher Pipe Organ Builders firm. Our organ still contains parts of the original 1895 instrument and its 1932 rebuilding. The leather parts of the organ, including the bellows and the action (the mechanism that admits wind to the pipes), have reached a point where they need repair to prevent damage to the instrument. The estimate for the work on the organ from the Lively-Fulcher firm is $32,430.00 for the total project. As you know, music is an important part of our celebrations here at St. Patrick’s. Given the operating shortfalls that we have had over the past three years due to the pandemic, our aim is to raise $16,000.00 of the cost through a small capital campaign. There will be further information about the campaign in our bulletin in the coming weeks.
