StarMon Token Economics

StarMon Token (SMON) is the BEP-20 governance token of StarMon Metaverse. Hold tokens and participate in key governance voting related to the game, SMON holders will receive rewards. When players playing various games in StarMon or through UGC content plans, they can earn $SMON.

The goal of StarMon Token is to combine the incentive mechanism for game players and developers in a novel way. The above mechanism has two main goals:

Reward players who interact with StarMon Metaverse and encourage them to hold tokens to obtain additional rewards.
Ownership and governance of the decentralized StarMon Metaverse.

In the Web3 era, we believe in decentralized governance and “Code is Law”. When the game runs stably, a part of the income generated by StarMon Metaverse will go to the community treasury department. When the governance structure is sufficiently dispersed, the community treasury department will be managed by SMON holders. The other part of the income generated by StarMon Metaverse will be used to buy back SMON and burn through the contract directly, which will realize the continuous deflation of SMON.

E.g：

Part of the income from StarMon NFT market trading will be managed directly through the contract, 50% will go to the community treasury department, 40% will be swapped into SMON and then sent to the burning address and 10% will be owned by developers for long-term maintenance of the game and protocol.
Similarly, 50% of the SMON income from Starmons breeding will go to the community treasury department, 40% will be directly swapped into SMON and then sent to the burning address, 10% will be owned by developers for long-term maintenance of the game and protocol.
