Yesterday, 30.11.21 at 13 UTC, the SolChicks IDO registration has been closed, and with that comes the time to count up the different variables factions are able to battle over to win the most of the 15% of the gamified prize pool, up to 50% for first place!
So, we already know that over 1,500 faction members took part in this IDO from our weekend update article, and that was 2 days ago. So we’re very excited to bring you the progress this very anticipated IDO has made.
To quickly recap, in accordance with StarTerra’s gamified terms, each IDO we hold an inherent competition between the factions to award our most active and loyal player base. We do this by splitting the IDO gamified pool (total 15.00%) into the different factions and working on a point system through a set of categories relating to the involvement of each faction such as total faction members involved, total STE etc. After all the points have been awarded, they are tallied up and depending on the position of each faction, every faction receives a different amount of the gamified pool.
So, now we know how the results are going to affect you as the player, it’s time to find out who won.
Total STE per Faction
The total STE involvement for this IDO reached 13,000,000! 4 million more than the previous IDO.
- 3rd place: With 3,671,864 STE are the Lunatics gaining 1 point
- 2nd place: We have the Degens amassing 4,395,998 STE gaining them 2 points
- 1st place: Interstellars have outdone themselves with an insane 5,137,090 STE, taking 3 points.
Interstellars take this one amassing ~800,000 more STE than second place.
Total Prefunded
Moving onto the Prefunds, with a total of 9,000,000 $UST prefunded in total, here’s how the factions have done individually. (Total of factions will be different than total prefunded as recruits are not included)
- 3rd place: Lunatics with a nice 1,546,311. $UST prefunded and getting themselves 1 point
- 2nd place: Degens. with 1,564,497 $UST raised getting 2 points
- 1st place: Interstellars with an incredible 1,974,661 $UST raised gaining 3 points
Very close by all the factions on this one, but Interstellars pulled just that little bit more ahead
Total Players
With over 6000 total players, a record breaking total, let’s see how the factions fared individually, bear in mind this does not include recruits but does include WhaleCraft.
- 3rd place: Degens with 623 total players, acquiring 1 point
- 2nd place: Lunatics with 675 players, earning themselves 2 points
- 1st place: We have the Interstellars, with a total of 819 players gaining 3 points
Well done to the Lunatics, providing an overwhelming 819 players almost double what they did last IDO!
WhaleCraft Participation
As you know, our 100 top wallets on StarTerra are classed as WhaleCraft, so just how many of these elite participants contributed to each faction?
- 3rd place: Lunatics providing 18 Whale wallets to the IDO, earning 1 point
- 2nd place: We have Degens with 35 of the 150, earning themselves 2 points
- 1st place: Interstellars with 46 members, awarding 3 points.
Clearly, Interstellar WhaleCraft has been busy, coming first two IDOs in a row now!
Overall Result
With impressive involvement dedicated from each faction, it’s unfortunate to announce that as always, there can only be one winner.
- 3rd: Lunatics with a total of 5 points
- 2nd: Degens with 7 points
- Finally Lunatics with an amazing 15 points, coming 1st
What does this entail?
As mentioned, StarTerra works with P2E in mind. One of the active systems we have is the gamified pool, which this rivalry between the factions competes for. WIth that being said, here are the gamified split pool percentages:
- Lunatics will have 20%
- Degens have earned 30%
- Interstellars have got themselves 50%!
But that doesn’t tell the entire story as game theory came into play for this IDO!
Gamification and Game Theory
Though the Interstellars took first place, it was actually Degens who had the highest allocation size!
A winning allocation for Degens came out to 302.78 $UST, while the winning allocation for Insterstellers was 289.59 $UST, and 284.04 $UST for Lunatics!!
This was due to the amount of total players having shifted away from Degens after we activated Instant Migration. Thereby the guaranteed allocation size was much greater than the remaining factions as Degens had a guaranteed allocation of 107.78 $UST, Interstellars with 94.59 $UST and Lunatics with 89.04 $UST!
When we were crafting StarTerra’s Gamified Tiers this was exactly what we expected to happen for certain IDOs! It’s not good enough to just switch over to the Winning Faction every time, because if everyone does it, your pools are diluted and your chances of winning the lottery are as well!
We’ll played for those Degens who stayed Loyal… Will the same thing happen for the next IDO?
Vesting + Claiming Tokens
As stated on the earlier IDO details, if you are given an allocation, you will be able to claim 25% of your tokens right away, followed by a 3 month daily linear release. Token Claiming and vesting will be done via SolChicks and we will inform users where they can claim their tokens as soon as everything is ready!
