Scandinavian countries are social democratic societies, not socialist. Socialism is defined by worker controlled means of production, therefore the abolition of privately controlled productive entities. Scandie countries are simply capitalist countries with welfare and extensive labor protection policies, this is not remotely socialist, in fact it can be observed by Marxists as being an extension and preservation of capitalism.
