A lot of these ring true — it’s better to try to prevent some guilt, even though you’ll likely feel it in another area. I’m a big fan of a gratitude practice to help with this. Especially when I feel overwhelmed or guilty, I try to think of ways to be thankful — you can’t stop 100% of guilt, but you can be happy with who you are and what you’re doing with your time and life.
