Chapter 3: Will UK Rejoin the EU?

See all chapters here

The United States remains the UK’s primary economic partner, followed by Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, France, and China.

Because the EU is still vital to the UK economy, we anticipate London to find a solution to the customer’s control of the Irish Sea dispute with Brussels. A compromise will preserve the two countries’ free trade agreement unscathed.

Geopolitically, the UK will need a stronger relationship with the EU, particularly in the energy, technology, and research sectors. We predict London to reach a compromise with Brussels in order to accomplish its long-term geopolitical ambitions.

London is attempting to increase its geopolitical influence in other regions of the world by pursuing stronger ties with Australia, Israel, Canada, and Mexico, as well as a Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement, in order to become an indispensable player in Southeast Asia.
