Profile of an “ART” Photographer- Kevin Carter
Kevin Carter was a famous South African photographer, a recpient of a Pulitzer Prize. He worked as a weekend sports photographer in 1983 and soon started exposing the brutality of apartheid. He was the first to photograph a public execution. He became a recipient of a Pulitzer Prize for his photograph featuring for a haunting Sudan famine picture as shown below. He was high honored but he unfortunately took his own life months after winning the Pulitzer Prize.
