It’s not unicorns, it’s not cockroaches, it’s not rabbits, it’s the Spoiled Elephants!

Totally agree & how about this anecdote from the world of Palaeontology.

(I’m too lazy to reference this right now but I am sure that a swift Google will vomit up the source.)

So this Palaeontologist was looking at the similarities between many of the uniquely-named dinosaurs — which often seemed to have strikingly similar physical form despite having been ‘identified’ as discrete species.

Following a hunch he took some core samples and put these under the microscope. By looking at bone density structure and other cellular evidence he was able to conclude that the different sized dino’s with unique species names were in fact… younger and older and adolescent dinosaurs of precisely the same species!

What had preceded this was the self-aggrandising desire of his predecessors to have a species named after his or herself.

Ergo: Trumpaurus Wrecks or Bezosdactyl Dronus.

I guess there may be unicorn/cockroach/rabbit hybrids possible. Bitroach, anyone?

CorniCock…
