NADEI’s Discipleship Group Training

Evangelist Steve Delong has served as a pastor/Evangelist for multiple Conferences throughout the NAD, and has recently worked with one church district for the Carolina, and then the Indiana Conference, where he led substantial church growth and spearheaded the construction of a new church building. Steven Delong also conducts Evangelistic meetings throughout the NAD, as well as the World Field, which has often included training for Evangelism schools, such as Andrews University’s North American Division Evangelism Institute (NADEI). NADEI’s services include small group training courses.
NADEI welcomes members of its ministry to join a selection of small groups, which consist of three or more individuals and vary widely in terms of purpose, objective, and ministry type. The importance of different groups lies in their ability to accomplish the goals and ministries as outlined by the God of the Universe.
In order to ensure a comprehensive learning experience, discipleship group training is divided into four quadrants: three sequential intensives and a church planting seminar. Each intensive includes a three-day seminar held at a negotiated location and participants are encouraged to either read M. Scott Boren’s How Do We Get There From Here or attend an Introduction to Discipleship Groups at a SEEDS conference.
The church planting seminar prepares participants to develop a church of discipleship groups and covers a range of topics, including leadership principles, planting strategies, and church values. In addition, the seminar will explore various systems and sub-systems of discipleship groups.
