Steven Kemler is a respected, entrepreneurial business leader who has built a reputation on innovation, integrity, creativity and philanthropy. Steve’s portfolio of professional endeavors touches multiple industries with noted successes in healthcare, education, real estate and entertainment. His passion for the environment and civic causes keeps Steve actively involved in communities close to home and around the world.

As Managing Director of the Stone Arch Group and principal of several US holding companies, Steve brings determination, experience and business acumen to a portfolio of real estate, high-growth companies and film project investments. Steve’s business ventures leave lasting, positive impressions and can be felt from American college campuses to the glitz and glamor of Hollywood’s Academy Awards — with several successful and growing businesses in between.

Among the notable projects backed by Steve is “The M,” a 24-story-ultra-energy-efficient student residence — the first high rise developed in Seattle’s University District in more than 30 years. “The M” represents a touchstone of innovation and responsible stewardship that is synonymous with Steve’s commitment and dedication. This unique student housing project adjacent to a large public university is just one example of Steve’s strength of combining business and community interests for the greater good.

With an eye for the arts, Steve adds executive producer to his list of professional achievements and accolades with the 2018 film, “The Kindergarten Teacher.” This Sundance Film Festival award-winning movie starring Maggie Gyllenhaal was later acquired and distributed by Netflix. He was also involved with the feature-length movie “Skin,” the short version of which won the “Best Action Live Short” at the 91st Academy Awards.

Much of Steve’s professional life has been geared toward improving the status quo through quality and excellence. Prior to Stone Arch Group, Kemler was CEO and co-founder of Ultimate Medical Academy. Under his leadership, UMA became one of the nation’s most prominent healthcare training institutes.

Philanthropy is a major cornerstone of Steve’s life. He is passionate about enriching education programs, mitigating climate change and preserving our planet’s rainforests. A graduate from Trinity College in Connecticut, Steve studied economics at home and abroad spending a semester at the University of London. To broaden his horizons and to understand the complexities and impact of global economics, Steve joined the United Nations Development program in Madagascar advocating for economic opportunity and realization. Leaving a legacy of action, Steve founded a student environmental group and a daily newspaper at Trinity.

Maintaining hometown roots, Steve is a native of Westchester County, NY, where he lives today with his wife and children.
