A civil trial attorney with 30 years of experience in law, Steve Koeppel has worked with the Lee County Bar Association on a panel for the preparation of expert witnesses for cross examination. Outside of his work as an attorney, Steve Koeppel volunteers with local youth sports organizations such as the North Fort Myers Soccer Club (NFMSC).

Founded in 1978, NFMSC offers local youth the opportunity to play organized soccer with other boys and girls their age. Currently, NFMSC hosts teams with more than 800 players each year. The organization maintains both recreational and competitive programs, with its competitive program capturing Florida state titles in 1995 and 1996. After a hiatus for several years, NFMSC re-initiated its competitive program in 2006, and over the next several years won two regional titles.

Recently, the organization recently partnered with Global Premier Soccer to launch the Florida Knights, a competitive youth soccer club that features top-notch coaching and facilities to better promote player development.
