Speaking Vs Thinking

It’s simple, but I make it complicated.

The voice in my head doesn’t know what that person is going to say. The voice in my head is anxious because that’s its job: to protect me.

But I’m only in imaginary danger.

And the only way to find out what they’re going to say is to ask them.

Speak up.
