Good article Kyle, I think the breakdown you’ve made here is important for startups to understand.

For example I’ve talked to a number of startups who say they want to become an MGA, though they have little understanding of even the process to become a producer. I like the idea of making something work at the agent level well before contemplating the MGA model.

oh I’d just add a hybrid of a ‘lead generating agent’ (i.e. agent using tech on distributors sites to generate leads and also providing distributors white label capabilities to transact)
