Does this mean no metal mesh in the laminate? How do you plan to transfer and discharge any static build up during flight? Also, how do you plan on grounding your antennas and flight controls? I would think some sort of mesh is required to transfer electrical energy around the aircraft from normal flight operations and to prevent comm interference during times with high static build up. I understand the idea of the lightening rod, but what will stop a lightening strike to a highly charged wing tip if that charge can’t be dissipated?
