Dream Interpretation: Broken Dreadnaught
I found myself on a dreadnaught fortress-like battleship made of limestone. I was on a tour of its nuclear reaction engines. Odd that the engines and entire engine rooms were made out of coins. In an adjacent room I was shown a shiny copper terminal mounted on a wall with pipes and meters. The two engines were controlled from here. As I focused on one particular meter the system began overheating. Then the room quickly broke apart, then the ship, and next I was stranded amidst a beautiful island garden surrounded by huge chunks of the stone ship. I was thirsty but a fat kangaroo with a grotesque face was sitting in the fresh water hole. It ran at me; surprising how fast it was.
The ocean cruising ship represents my armored and defensive navigation of emotions. Until I lost focus of the whole, which is when it all broke apart.
Despite shipwrecked, I was comforted by a beautiful island representing affirming and fleeting thoughts, easily forgotten when “faced” with an ugly thought.
