This is quite an interesting way of looking at the educational system. I think people mistake the MED with procrastination. In my opinion, nothing is wrong with good grades but the bigger picture isn’t the position you place in class or percentage you score on an exam. I studied Computer Science and was always considered “a brilliant boy” but then my classmates would shake their heads to see my grades were consistently in the 60–75% range in modules they knew I was well educated. I always told them, “I’m here to understand computer science, not to pass Computer Science exams.”
