Friday: $0 Being lazy.
Saturday: Had planned to do some trip planning but there was a “Science Explorations” weekend at my University. So we viewed visualizations of weather patterns and satellites, found out my husband had the best balance/muscle control of any adult the researchers had seen on a diagnostic tool because usually only children do as well as he did, saw some insect colonies, and got to pet some cows at the dairy research labs.
The cows were liking me that day. We followed protocol in that you hold out your hand and let the cows reach their necks out to indicate they are up for petting. They drew away from other people but I was the cow whisperer that day. All $0. Then we went out to a late lunch $59 and went home to do some chores.
Sunday: Church $280 donation, the kids put on a play for the service (super cute)and another middle aged lady and myself did our best One Direction fan impressions and were going
She: “OMGosh! You guys were soooo great *Squeals*”
Me: “It’s them, they kids from onstage! I’m gonna faint! I’m gonna faint!”
I went grocery shopping and had anticipated spending $19 but let’s all say it together…..I went while hungry…I did end up picking up a sweet brie and fancy breads. $35.
Home. Chores. Cooking.
Total: $374
