Strangers V2 migration

Dear Strangers, our team has successfully migrated the entire StrangersNFT collection to a custom built smart contract using the Manifold Studio.

What does this mean?

StrangersNFT was originally built on an Opensea native contract, which means the collection was stuck on Opensea only and would not appear as a collection anywhere else (eg Looksrare, Coinbase etc.). In addition, the fact that it wasn’t a real smart contract created problems too numerous to go into here.

Now that we have Strangers 001–300 on a custom contract with full manifold control we can:

• Take snapshots
• Do airdrops
• Fix metadata
• Update art
• Appear as a collection in all eth-based platforms and metaverses ie: (Worldwide Webb)
• Expand capabilities with web3 evolution
• Keep the StrangersNFT alive and well

What do holders need to do?

ALL STRANGERS FROM THE ORIGINAL OS CONTRACT NEED TO BE BURNED. If there’s a Stranger in your wallet, feel free to perform whatever burning ritual you like, and maybe share some creative art or story with it on Twitter. Perhaps there will be a prize or two for the best stories.

Step 1: BURN YOUR STRANGER (be creative, but include transferring any/all of your Strangers to this eth address: (0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dEaD)
Step 2: Let us know you’ve completed your burn in (insert burn channel here) Step 3: @Solemn Stranger will transfer your new and improved Strangers to your wallet!

What comes next? Once all Strangers have been burned and replaced, ORIGINS BEGINS.

This is the backstory for our dear Strangers which will unfold in very creative ways. And let’s just say… the Strangers, our true OGs, will be handsomely rewarded for their successful pilgrimage.
