Fool’s love

Stray Poet
Jul 20, 2017 · 1 min read

Searching for her,
Been searching for years
As I approach her
She fades and disappears

I dream of her,
Every night it’s the same
In my arms and then gone
Is there no end to this pain?

She’s unreachable, like the horizon
This quest I should give up
But every sunset, in the horizon
Is so beautiful, I cannot stop

I call out her,
“Wait for me, I love you!”
She replies in disappointment
“You don’t know me, you fool”
