Thanks Sasha, great piece.

You reminded me of a discussion I had with a friend, regarding whether, or not, it hinders the success of a film if you are familiar with the actors. As you say, we bring expectations with us.

Would films be more convincingly truthful and authentic if all of the actors were unknown? Can a "good" actor overcome the audience's familiarity with them, or do we lose attention focusing on the actor's skill, rather than the story being told.
