The problem is a systemic customer support issue. Companies rely too heavily on call centre scripts. If you have a simple issue–and it’s handled by a script–you’re in luck. Something unusual like this? You’ll have a better chance of flying at light speed than convincing any CSR of your issue and that they should personally take responsibility to resolve it.
