This is a vision board I made in my room, up on the wall next to my big vanity. They’re inspirational photos and reminders that keep me motivated to stay on track and reach my ultimate goal! I custom made all the ones with phrases/sayings on them because they mean something to me.

For example, I work at Five Guys Burgers & Fries and am tempted with french fries everyday. But I remind myself, “Hey, GREASY FRIES OR SKINNY THIGHS?” Hope this wall will grow with more encouraging sayings and photos too :) I may hang up a bikini that I’d love to show off, and photos of summer and fresh fruit. It can keep growing!

The core principle is that visualization is one of the most powerful mental disciplines that you can utilize to achieve the correct vibrational state, and engaging in the correct attractive factor, as mentioned a few pages ago. According to the book, The Secret:

“The law of attraction is forming your entire life experience and it is doing that through your thoughts. When you are visualizing, you are emitting a powerful frequency out into the Universe.”

In other words, not only does a programmable vision board allow you focus all of your mental acuity and awareness on your weight loss goals, but constantly seeing the support of images and content about your goals increases the likelihood of achieving the correct vibrational state to also attract possible solutions and positive events when it comes to weight loss.

While there are people that have invaded the possibilities of actually attracting things that you devote time thinking about, one thing does hold true; embedding these images, thoughts and possible solutions in your subconscious mind on a daily basis for drastically reinforces the likelihood that you are more likely to engage in behavior that will make these events occur.

No words, it just makes sense when it comes to goal setting and focus to create a vision board.

Dr. Denis Waitley you over the years has demonstrated the importance of vision board, positive visualization and how to combine the two in order to achieve impressive results.

Dr. Waitley has used positive visualization to create top performers in the world; this includes Olympic athletes, astronauts, top CEOs and executives, as well as a whole host of entrepreneurs were utilized positive visualization to improve their overall performance and results.
