This startup competition gets you meetings with investors & a free stay in SF
Suiteness #StartupSuite is a startup competition where you can win a three-night stay in a luxury suite for four at Hotel Zeppelin, San Francisco. In addition to the complimentary stay which comes with a free concierge, you also get pre-arranged meetings with four leading investors in the city.
So, just another startup competition then?
Nope, this is not another typical startup competition where you pitch your idea to a panel of judges and convince them that you’re making the world a better place (although, we’re sure you are). Startup Suite is for startups who understand the importance of communication and being able to come together as a team from time to time, to ideate, collaborate and simply get to know each other.
As a startup ourselves, we know that it takes extra effort to operate a successful company when your team is all over the world (Oakland, Austin, Denver, Toronto, Hong Kong — literally ALL OVER THE WORLD). So we make sure to take two trips every year so that the whole team can come together face-to-face and know each other as people and not just texts/ pings/ Slack messages. We have found for ourselves the benefits of using a suite as a venue for team meetings. And now we want to give that opportunity to another startup that really needs it. Plus, as an added benefit, when you come to San Francisco for your fully paid stay we will also introduce you to four top investors in the city: Eric Weisen — General Partner at Bullpen Capital, Ludwig Ensthaler — Partner at Global Founders Capital, Eric Scott -Partner at SciFi VC and Boris Silver — Co-Founder and President at FundersClub. How suite is that?
What you need to do
Simply make a video that’s anywhere from 10 seconds to one minute long and tell us why your team needs to stay together in San Francisco. We DO NOT CARE about the quality of the video. What we care about is why your startup team needs to come to San Francisco and stay in this suite. So forget about scripting or editing — just pick up your phone and send us a raw video. When we open up the entries for public voting, share your idea with your followers and get everyone you know to vote for you. That’s it!
Don’t forget the timeline for entry
