Coin Metrics revealed on Twitter that the cryptocurrency Bitcoin SV (BSV) is under a 51 percent assault, which was first discovered on August 3.
The Bitcoin Association, which promotes Bitcoin SV, has been active on Twitter, providing instructions to node operators. To keep attackers out, node operators should label fake chains as “invalid.”
Companies like Goldman Sachs Group Inc. backed up Coin Metrics’ findings. Following that, Fidelity Investments stated that “no additional reorganization events have been seen,” but that “synchronization disputes are still occurring on large mining pools.” BSV has already been attacked in June and July.
