This page is used to inform users of LiveAvatar3D App regarding the privacy policy with the collection, usage, disclosure, sharing and retention of user data.
[The type of data we use]
The LiveAvatar3D App uses the facial motion data, captured with iPhone front camera and extracted with Apple’s ARKit, to drive the avatars’ facial expressions.
The facial motion data is used solely at runtime to drive avatars’ facial expressions on the users’ iPhone. We don’t collect the facial motion data.
The LiveAvatar3D App does not require the user to provide any other personal information, thus does not collect any.
[Usage of the TrueDepth API by LiveAvatar3D App]
We use Unity’s ARFoundation framework and Apple’s ARKit APIs to read data from TrueDepth camera, convert into Apple’s blendshape coefficients, and drive the avatars’ facial expressions.
No data from the TrueDepth camera is stored on the device or sent to any server. No data is collected by LiveAvatar3D App.
[Data collection, usage, storage, disclosure, sharing and retaining plan]
We don’t collect the face data.
We only use the face data to drive the avatars’ facial expressions, on the users iPhone.
We don’t store the face data.
We won’t disclose the face data, since it is not collected.
We won’t share the face data with third parties, since it is not collected.
Since we don’t store the face data, there is no retaining plan.
[When we need to update this policy]
We will need to change this policy from time to time in order to make sure it stays up to date with the latest legal requirements and any changes to our privacy management practices.
When we do change the policy, we’ll make sure to notify you about such changes, where required. A copy of the latest version of this policy will always be available on this page.
