The SuperWalk Team firmly believes in the importance of transparent information sharing. Therefore, we have been sharing our activities over the past month through a <Monthly Roundup> format. Please note that important information regarding development and product aspects may be excluded to maintain confidentiality.
January was a month focused on increasing accessibility for global users.
Building on our success in the Korean NFT market as the leading dApp in the Klaytn ecosystem, we made improvements aimed at attracting global users. The SuperWalk Team is striving to provide more localized content focusing on Asian markets such as Japan and Vietnam, in order to make our dApp services more accessible to global users.
Global Expansion
BNB Chain Hosts AMA : Unlocking Web3 Gaming on BNB Chain
SuperWalk conducted a joint AMA hosted by BNB Chain via X (formerly Twitter) Space. Participants in this AMA were the Web3 Dark ARPG Loot Game project SERAPH, Element providing an NFT Marketplace, and SuperWalk. With prominent projects, SuperWalk Team discussed our vision and business strategies, enhancing visibility and exposure in the global arena.
OKX and Burrito Wallet Integration Completed
With this update, it’s now possible to enable immediate use of the SuperWalk app by linking KLAY purchased on OKX or Bithumb exchanges to the connected OKX or Burrito Wallet. This integration establishes a seamless user experience where various wallet services used by global Web3 users can be linked to SuperWalk all at once. Moving forward, we will continue to integrate more wallet services with SuperWalk, striving to provide even greater accessibility to global Web3 users.
Global Campaign — Japan Quiz Campaign
The SuperWalk Team conducted a quiz event targeting Japanese users who were initially hesitant to start due to lack of information, despite having interest. Japanese Web3 users were able to familiarize themselves with SuperWalk naturally by participating in solving the quiz questions and interacting with existing Japanese SuperWalk community users.
Approximately 600 Japanese Web3 users participated in the quiz event, out of which 80 submitted complete answers. To enhance the excitement of the event, Shoe NFTs were awarded to around 30 users who achieved a perfect score of 100%.
The SuperWalk Team plans to continue various activities, including further development of Line open chat events for the Japanese community, to engage with the Japan community.
Global Campaign — SuperWalk Adventure
The SuperWalk Team regularly organizes the <SuperWalk Adventure> event to expand the global awareness of SuperWalk and provide a social experience that users can enjoy with friends. This event is tailored to each language community (Korean, Japanese, Chinese Language Culture, Vietnamese, Turkish, French) to ensure smooth participation, with explanations provided in the respective languages. Moreover, to ensure fairness, the selection process considers the proportional support within each country.
A total of 123 teams participated in the event, introducing SuperWalk to nearly 400 global users. Additionally, 24 teams were awarded Shoe NFTs according to internal criteria, providing them with the opportunity to experience SuperWalk.
The SuperWalk Team plans to continue developing and periodically hosting this campaign to expand global awareness and provide social experiences in the future.
Global Campaign — 20-Day Workout Challenge Event (with Fidelion NFT)
SuperWalk Team conducted the <X Exercise Verification Event> with the aim of motivating the SuperWalk community to exercise and providing an environment for interaction on Twitter. For this campaign, we specially collaborated with Fidelion, a Solana-based NFT project, to plan to offer 2 NFTs (#5921, #8600) from Fidelion through a draw among those who verify their exercise for all 20 days.
Over 1,000 users registered for the event, and approximately 200–300 #SuperWalk exercise verifications are being conducted daily. The exercise verification posts demonstrate interactions among Web3 users of various nationalities.
Moving forward, the SuperWalk Team plans to periodically organize this event with various projects to provide opportunities for existing community holders to enjoy exercising and potentially obtain NFTs from promising projects during the process.
Global Campaign — WADESIDE Private Auction WL 5K WADESIDE RUN
As part of our efforts to provide SuperWalk community holders with the opportunity to experience promising Web3 projects simply by holding NFTs and exercising, we collaborated with the IPX & SURGENCE teams to conduct the WADESIDE Private Auction WL campaign.
For the SuperWalk community, a total of 3 WADESIDE Private Auction WLs were allocated, with 2 and 1 tickets respectively distributed through in-app raffle and Twitter exercise verification campaigns. Rather than simple exposure-based marketing, we organized events where users had to complete a 5KM running mission using the SuperWalk app and verify it on social media.
Moving forward, we will continue to conduct various experiential marketing events based on user experience, expanding the reach of the SuperWalk ecosystem.
Content Updates
New Mini Coupon Release and Celebration Event
We have released new mini coupons with a higher success rate than the existing 1% probability mini coupons. Additionally, a new event targeting users attempting shoe upgrades with the higher success rate mini coupon has been launched. With this update, we anticipate further improvements in the WALK tokenomics. The SuperWalk Team is committed to continuously fostering a healthy ecosystem.
Superz Candy Update
The Superz Candy update has been implemented. To obtain candy from the candy machine, users must acquire Superz attendance or Superz stickers. Various methods for obtaining candy, such as pro-mode exercises, will be added in the future. Candy serves not only to nurture Superz but also as currency for various aspects of Superz MVP content. Acquired candy can be used when Superz is injured and hospitalized, reducing the recovery time. The upcoming Superz MVP update will fill Superz’s adventure outside the shoe rack, so we appreciate your interest.
Community Side
WALK Data Disclosure
SuperWalk team has been releasing WALK token data since January. Through this initiative, we anticipate a reduction in information asymmetry between SuperWalk and users. Moving forward, we will undergo internal reviews to determine additional data necessary for the healthy growth of the SuperWalk ecosystem, which will be disclosed accordingly. Ultimately, our goal is to establish SuperWalk as a project that instills greater trust among ecosystem participants by ensuring that more in-app activities are recorded on the blockchain, allowing anyone to verify data in real-time.
Purchasing Shoe NFT with Basic Mode Points
The SuperWalk Team recently conducted a new event targeting Basic Mode users. We provided a Web3 onboarding experience where users could transition to Pro Mode using points accumulated in Basic Mode. By offering this new experience to users who may have found the payment process for transitioning to Pro Mode inconvenient, we were able to create successful user transition cases. Moving forward, the SuperWalk Team will continuously strive towards our goal of becoming a more mainstream service under the Web3 Gateway dApp, developing more advanced content through internal data analysis processes.
JEFFWORLD Partnership & Event
SuperWalk partnered with the real-world-connected daily simulation metaverse platform JEFFWORLD and conducted a joint event to commemorate this partnership. Through this collaboration, we facilitated the exchange between the JEFFWORLD and SuperWalk ecosystems, ultimately contributing to increased revenue for the SuperWalk team. In this manner, the SuperWalk Team is not only expanding the reach of our ecosystem but also strengthening its foundation through revenue diversification.
