Something to Celebrate: An Article About The Frazier Mountain Park Road and Mt. Pinos Way Intersection Project

If you don’t live in the Mountain Communities, you may not have heard of Gunnar Kuepper, the publisher, editor, and writer of the GBU Mountain News. If that’s the case, you may want to drop him an email at gbumountainnews@gmail and ask to be added to his electronic newspaper email list. The newspaper, which joins the longstanding Mountain Enterprise in covering the Mountain Communities, is beginning to reach out to other parts of Kern County, as well. It’s a mix of local community info and tenacious investigative reporting.

I’m saving the June 26th issue of the GBU Mountain News here because it contains an article entitled “Initiative of Supervisor David Couch is Destined to Save Lives.” The article is about the commencement of a roads project, which we have been advocating for, planning, and tracking with Kern County Roads for most of my first term as a County Supervisor. I’m very pleased to see construction on this important project begin.
