You’d Better Get ‘Woke’ Conservatives, Dems Are Grooming Their Choice for President in 2020 Right Now!

Conservatives are notorious for always being on the defense when it comes to the Left.

It often works to their detriment and it may prove once again to be disastrous unless they get ‘woke’ to what the Democrats are in the process of doing.

The Democrats are currently grooming their choice for the next President of the United States.

Who is that choice? None other than Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif..

I can hear many of you responding that she doesn’t have a chance. She’s unknown. She’s only a freshman in the Senate.

Does that mean we should just dismiss her chances?

Recently, Sen. Dianne Feinstein downplayed Harris’s bid for the White House in 2020 by saying that the junior senator just became a senator and that “What she should do is concentrate on being a good, and possibly great, United States senator. The rest will either happen or not happen.”

But the senior Senator also said that Harris was “on the way to becoming a good friend of hers.” A “friendship” Harris will surely need should she decide to run for President in 2020.

What are the large donors of the Democratic Party looking for in a candidate?

Tom Steyer, a California hedge fund billionaire and the Democrat Party’s largest donor, who spent $87 million on Democratic candidates in 2016, including endorsing Hillary Clinton in the primaries, admitted that the Democratic Party needs to advance a “solidly progressive agenda and not just an anti-Trump platform.”

Steyer has recently launched NextGen Rising, a new voter registration campaign aimed at young voters in eight key states just in time to impact the 2018 midterm elections. He’s also looking ahead to the Presidential election in 2020 but admits it may be too early to start talking about possible candidates at this point. However, he certainly didn’t rule Harris out.

Others in the Democratic Party are taking a different approach and aren’t waiting until closer to 2020 to focus on their candidate. They are taking steps right now!

Touted in the headlines of the New York Post’s Page Six as the “Dems’ Rising Star” and referred to as the the Democrats’ “Great Freshman Hope” and “a 2020 presidential hopeful,” Harris reportedly met with Hillary Clinton’s biggest financial backers in the Hamptons over the weekend.

It appears that Democrats rolled out the red carpet for Harris.

According to the NY Post, the California senator attended an event at the home of MWWPR guru Michael Kempner, who was an avid Hillary supporter.

He was reportedly one of Hillary’s national-finance co-chairs and a led fundraiser for her 2008 bid for the presidency. He also raised $3 million for Barack Obama’s reelection campaign in 2012.

Notable guests, according to the article, were to include:

“Margo Alexander, a member of Clinton’s inner circle; Dennis Mehiel, a Democratic donor who is the chairman of the Battery Park City Authority, even though he lives between a sprawling Westchester estate and an Upper East Side pad; designer Steven Gambrel and Democratic National Committee member Robert Zimmerman.”

Following that event, Washington lobbyist Liz Robbins was scheduled to host a luncheon for Harris in the Hamptons, as well.

There is only one reason that a senator from California would be hobnobbing over the weekend with the rich and famous in the Hamptons. They are grooming her to be the first female president in 2020.

Democrat financiers like Steyer believe Democrats need a new progressive message and Harris certainly fits the bill as a staunch feminist who is often blunt and definitely a progressive.

She’s also not afraid to step on toes while bringing her “California Resistance” to Washington, D.C.

In January, Harris called Homeland Secretary John Kelly at home and demanded that he allow individuals who were blocked from entering the country because of President Donald Trump’s travel restrictions, admittance into the U.S.

Harris told the retired four-star general Kelly, referring to those who were trying to gain entry into the U.S., the reason he should allow them in: “‘Because these families are there and there’s a stay that just got issued. So you need to let them go.’”

It may explain but doesn’t excuse why Harris was disrespectful to Kelly during questioning at a recent Senate Intelligence Committee hearing.

Harris was also instrumental as California attorney general in initially prosecuting David Daleiden, an activist who released undercover videos of alleged Planned Parenthood wrongdoing.

Harris defended Planned Parenthood on her website for senate and asked her supporters to sign a petition in support of the organization.

Her brashness and far-left ideologies make her the perfect progressive candidate to represent the liberal Democratic Party in the next Presidential election.

Should conservatives be concerned or should they bank on the fact that Trump can pull off another unexpected win?

Instead of being complacent, now is the time for Conservatives to begin to mount an offensive against the person who many on the Right consider to be one of the Democratic Party’s more ‘offensive’ politicians.

Conservatives must ensure that Harris never even becomes a presidential candidate.
