Your argument against minimal posters is valid. Posters do in fact serve the purpose of driving ticket sales. Not refuting that. My point is that if you’re going to call yourself a Graphic Designer as opposed to Artist, it should be your responsibility to quantify the outcome of the poster you just designed; gather feedback, optimize, test, etc.
