3ie’s Swashakt program seeks to strengthen women’s group enterprises in India. True to its name, which means self-empowered in Hindi, the Swashakt program is supporting interventions and evaluations to identify models that help women's collective enterprises enhance their viability, scalability and returns and promote women’s economic empowerment. Swashakt is supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and LEAD at Krea University is our grant management partner.
