Now or later

It is important to understand your responsibilities as a young adult, but as you look into the past you might have had made poor choices. It could have been the environment you grew up in or the people you chose to hang around. The truth in it at the end of the day was that when you were young you were in a controlled environment. The day consisted of going to school every day where you forced to do good and learn something. High school as I remember it did not teach me about life or my future. It would be wise to teach the high school students about credit and how it works and the definition of real responsibilities. This would be an important teaching tool because it has everything to do with your future and the difficulties it could cause if you made poor decisions on finances and life choices.

Today it could be the day we realize that its never too late to teach our children. You would only expect the parents to teach their children about the importance to pay your bills on time or understand a credit card and interest rates before they jump on what they think is “Free Money”. Just imagine what our economy would be like today if young adults understood the finance part of life and everything that surrounded it.. college, stocks, retirement, taxes, politics, voting.. it all matters and it’s all connected.

If only the younger generation could focus on the things that are important than the worlds largest group in a pillow fight. It is hard to state that the younger generation could make such a huge impact on today and its discrepancies, but it could be the start of a huge change.
