Short films as they relate to the photographer’s eye bring a particular dimension to filmmaking. Can it be translated into an entire feature by a photographer with storytelling skills? Certainly the doc “Discovering Vivian Maier” works. Jeffrey Roberts offers two examples of photographers who have made feature length films, Lauren Greenfield, known for the Sundance premiering film “The Queen of Versailles” and now working on “Wealth: The Influence of Affluenceand Louis Psihoyas, known for “The Cove” and “Racing Extinction”.
