CHAT GPT 4 and BARD What’s the difference? Part 1

The two hottest tech releases are the talk of the town this week, let's deep dive and differentiate them first on the technology and in my next writing will share with you what I am using in my day to day routine.

Bard and GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) are language models designed for natural language processing tasks. However, there are some key differences between them.

Bard is a language model developed by EleutherAI, an independent research organization that aims to create open-source AI models for the public good. Bard is based on the GPT-2 architecture and has been trained on a large corpus of text data to generate high-quality text in a variety of styles and genres.

GPT, on the other hand, is a family of language models developed by OpenAI. The GPT series includes GPT-1, GPT-2, and GPT-3, with each subsequent model being larger and more powerful than the previous one. GPT-3 is one of the largest and most powerful language models, capable of generating human-like text on various tasks.

One of the main differences between Bard and GPT is their size and training data. Bard is significantly smaller than GPT-3 and has been trained on a smaller corpus of text data. This means that while Bard may be able to generate high-quality text, it may not be as diverse or flexible as GPT-3.

Another difference is the way in which the models were trained. Bard was trained using a collaborative, community-driven approach, where volunteers contributed to the training data and model development. In contrast, GPT models were trained using a centralized approach, with a large team of researchers and engineers working on the development and training of the models.

Overall, both Bard and GPT are powerful language models with their own strengths and weaknesses. The choice of which model to use would depend on the specific use case and requirements of the task at hand. As a technology person looking towards AI and how both Open AI and Google operate especially when it comes to Google Marketing Model, I am afraid they will introduce Biased into the model by opening the same options for the advertisers they have for the Google Search platform, which is where I would be hesitant to use Bard and stick to GPT much more, I am waiting for have access to BARD so I can check most of the BIAS. and talk about it as of now this is my assumption.
