The Day I Banished Busyness

A beautiful article, Kim! The pace of our society is so fast that it leads me to a question who is it for? For big corporations? Economies?

I believe that we all need nature, freedom, and just be. Especially, us women. I lived in China for 2 years and traveled a bit around Asia — these times were absolutely amazing and perfect. There was just me and freedom to do what I wanted. I chose to turn inwards and clean all the wounds from past and find out what I wanted to experience in my life. Not my family, ex-boyfriend, or friends. Just me.

This experience has changed me completely. The return to Europe was a somewhat painful. I must say that I had more a cultural shock by coming back.

Now, me and my husband are heading to Southeast Asia to live our dreams and do full-time what we love. I can’t wait and being in nature and doing what makes sense to me and brings value to others.

It can be easy to get caught up in to-do lists and should-do lists but it’s up to us what kind of life we create.
