It’s possible!
So many times people told me that I am an idealist. So many times they don’t believe that my dreams of a better, smarter and convivialist world can come true. They wish they could, but they cannot. Yesterday seeing more than four million of people of all religions and ages in peace, fighting for freedom and fraternity, made me so proud. Everyone looks happier and positive, ready to stand up for democracy peacefully. It was magical in France, but also elsewhere. The sadness and the paradox are that 17 people had to die to obtain this result!
Beginning the year with hope for collective intelligence and creativity means a lot to me. It’s up to us now to make peace, respect and SOLIDARITY a habit in our family, at work, in our communities.
In one of his last post, Bernard Marr wrote about the importance of saying thank you: the two most powerful words a manager can use. This is a situation that I often observed recently. How difficult it seems, for some people, to acknowledge a positive gesture from someone else. When I saw citizens kissing and saying thank you to policemen, I was very pleased. It was a small step in the right direction.
Smiling to others, saying hello and thank you, aren’t they the basic manifestations of being ‘human’? I have a dream: Building on collective intelligence and creativity to make the impossible possible. Thank you for your help. Thank you for walking with us yesterday. Keep pace for the transition.
