Chicago, September 5, 2018 — T4Youth, Chicagoland’s charity tech table tennis tournament, is now accepting team registrations and corporate sponsorships for the blockbuster annual event, which benefits The Chicago Tech Academy (ChiTech), Chicago’s only public high school to incorporate wall-to-wall project-based learning, entrepreneurial principles, STEM coursework, and real-world experiences with Chicago companies into the curriculum. This year’s tournament will be held on November 14, 2018, at SPiN Chicago, and the winner will earn the title of number-one corporate table tennis team in Chicago. Teams can register on the site: www.T4Youth.com.

Companies that have already stepped up to sponsor this year’s event include DRW, IMC, the Intercontinental Exchange, Relativity, SPiN Chicago, and TechForward. Since recently opening registration, Akuna Capital, ActiveCampaign, Bento, Buildout, Barchart, Freeosk, SeedCX, and Strike Social have signed up teams. Team registration packages start at $1,000 per team, and companies can also enhance their involvement with a wide variety of sponsorship opportunities. Another popular feature that returns this year is the “Executive Challenge,” a singles tournament that pits local executives against each other.

Ryan Pollock, a T4Youth co-founder who also serves on the board of directors at ChiTech and is a managing partner at Objective Paradigm, offered, “We have been thrilled to see the growth of T4Youth over the years, as companies from all over Chicago come together to bridge the gap between Chicago’s surging tech companies and the city’s next generation of tech talent.”

Brian Mehta, CMO of longtime T4Youth sponsor Trading Technologies, reflected, “T4Youth is a true sporting event, complete with fun, intense competition and dramatic finishes. Win or lose though, teams feel good about supporting some of Chicago’s underserved teens and, in many cases, forging relationships that carry on long after the tournament is over.”

T4Youth Team Champions include:

  • 2014: DRW
  • 2015: Slalom Consulting
  • 2016: Enova
  • 2017: Blue Cross Blue Shield

2017’s single-night tournament raised over $100,000 for ChiTech. The tournament’s founders are 3Points Communications, Objective Paradigm, and SPR. To learn more about the tournament, register a team, or purchase a sponsorship package, please visit t4youth.com.
